In this case the Devon-French's team was able to hold off creditors, forestall foreclosure and repossession actions long enough to restructure their debts so that the practices could be sold for greater value than if sold at a bankruptcy auction. As a result, the practitioner's were vindicated, patients were not abandoned, staff and management jobs were saved and the creditors were more that satisfied with the results.
